This website aims to offer an up-to-date source of information and a platform for sharing knowledge on the current use, potential and limitations of mHealth in low-resource settings.
Despite the vast number of recent mHealth project examples from Asian, African and Latin American countries, as yet the majority are pilot studies. Besides the evaluation of impact and effectiveness of these mHealth initiatives, we believe that the sharing of experiences and lessons learned can contribute to more sustainable programme implementation and scaling up of initiatives. This website aims to contribute to filling this gap.
►Search the free mHealth resources database containing more than 300 articles, presentations, websites, news and events with relevance for low-resource settings.
►Browse projects linking mobile technology to health care in low- and middle income countries. Projects providing insights into different application areas can be viewed in a table as well as on a map.
►Submit your own project for inclusion in the projects overview!
►Learn more about KIT's mHealth activities.
►Stay informed by subscribing to RSS Feeds/Email Alerts, or follow us on Twitter and Facebook!
